The season, start to finish
The UAE running season is short and dense. From the last weekend of October to the start of February there's a major event almost every weekend: two HYROX races, two full marathons, half a dozen half marathons, a T100 triathlon and the biggest mass-participation run in the country. Most people pick one or two. Some pick five. Either way, this is the full list.
Each card gives the date, the venue and distances, and one line on what the event will leave behind in your legs, because the gap between races is where the season is won or lost. For how to recover between them, including where red light fits, read The UAE race season is here. Here's where red light fits in.

Look at the gaps, not the dates
Al Ain to HYROX Dubai is three weeks. HYROX Dubai to the Abu Dhabi Marathon is two. The Dubai Marathon to Burj2Burj is one week, and Burj2Burj to RAK is six days. None of those are long enough to fully recover from the race before if you keep training through, and almost everyone keeps training through.
So pick your races first, then count backwards and decide which weeks are for building and which are for bouncing back. The recovery routine we use between races, with the research behind it, is in the full piece.
Dates and distances from the organisers' published information as of 21 October 2026. The Dubai Marathon date is still to be confirmed by the organiser. Always check before booking travel.
